Jen Chau Fontán creates spaces where individuals can show up in their truth and power, make impact and live joyful lives. With over 20 years of experience in management and building talent functions from the ground up at various NYC based nonprofits, Jen has created systems for equitable practices in recruitment, hiring, performance management and staff development. She has also built healthy and engaging organizational cultures and internal programs around equity and belonging.

Jen got her start in executive coaching through her HR/talent roles dating back to 2005. Before joining us as an adjunct coach, Jen served as a VP on TMC’s Progressive Sector coaching team from 2017-2019. She also coaches through JCF Coaching, the independent coaching practice she founded in 2018. As  a certified somatic coach, Jen works with individuals in a one-on-one capacity to explore the landscape of their lives using an embodied, holistic approach. Clients tend to work with Jen when they are yearning to grow their management or leadership, their personal lives, or their ability to show up in cross-cultural relationships/race equity work.

When Jen isn’t coaching, she can be found in nature with her family; making art; laughing and dancing with her daughter; enjoying a book or three; making something with yarn and practicing balance and joy. Jen lives in New York with her husband and daughter.
