Managing to Change the World – BIPOC Manager’s Cohort
Description
Managers who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) face specific issues as leaders – issues that result from racism, classism, sexism, and other forms of oppression. This cohort is designed to provide a common space for BIPOC managers to learn a wide range of effective management strategies and share practices that help managers of color thrive.
This training requires a brief application, and we prioritize people managers from progressive social justice and educational equity organizations. We strive to build a cohort that is diverse in identity, background, and organization size. We select participants on a rolling basis for each cohort.
This training, specifically for BIPOC managers, is a compilation of Managing to Change the World and several Skill Builders with additional content on race and power dynamics.
